A couple pictures from a local wildlife rescue organization that specializes in birds. My fist visit there, and I will certainly be back as it was a really nice place to visit

Thank you. Luckily, they do not have any natural predators predators on Christmas Island, so they can live in reasonable safety and comfort. Yellow crazy ants, introduced from Africa are their biggest threat. Tiny red crab babies have it much tougher when they spawn in the sea and return to the shores, as they can be eaten by by fish, manta rays, and whale sharks.
