I am unable to update to 1.80 - get as far as update camera firmware/ lens firmware. Select camera firmware and goes to a black screen. Have to turn off and remove battery. Tried downloading firmware to two sim cards. Tried two different batteries, fully charged.
Any ideas?

Regarding firmware update to 1.8--.

I think Canon made an error in 1.8 and released 1.8.1 to correct it.

Thanks, David. Focusing was a challenge. Eye detect struggled with the branches. Quick switch to one-shot, snapped and the bird was off.
