I have been using Apollo OBR for 8 years but the problem is that i Can't tilt i down. I could use some kind of boom but that will also make it unstable speccaly with ad600

I'm looking for something else that's compact when folded and easy to setup on location.

There is other Phottix easy up but look like same problem.

There is also normal umbrella with softboxes and profoto I heard very good of.

Any recommendations?

The Apollo Orb was popular, fast and convenient, but never the most durable or versatile. The AD600 is designed with a front modifier mount. It also has an umbrella mount for simple bounce or shoot through. In contrast, the Apollo Orb was designed for an internal speedlight. So it really doesn’t make sense to put an AD600 inside it. The other options you show are known as a brolly and basically just a deep umbrella with a diffusion cover. There’s no reason to buy the Profoto version unless money is no object. In addition to Phottix you can get deep umbrellas by Westcott or Impact and add a diffusion cover. But, none of these make use of the AD600’s front mount. Why not get yourself a collapsible softbox with a Bowens ring instead? Check out the SMDV Alpha Speedbox or cheaper version called Glow Parapop. If your AD600 has an Elinchrom mount, then consider the Rotalux.

Actually, using the reflective umbrellas with diffusion works well on the AD600. I have 4', 5' and 7' versions. All work well, tilt with the flash and are very cost effective.
See it on right here...

Been doing that for 30 years with strobes and speedlights, that’s why I specifically discussed them. But they’re not a softbox.
