And this is why one should never rely on a single form of backup, companies included. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I'm not a fan of trusting companies that do data storage as a side hustle.

Yes, folks, even I agree with the fact that you should never rely on one particular storage or backup solution for your photos and videos. We don’t get a second chance once we lose such precious moments!

I too do not rely on even some of the branded cloud storage services, since technology related failures and issues are quite common. Just don’t trust anyone these days! I do 2 or 3 backups of my pictures across different storage devices, which I feel is the right approach!

That's too bad. But like anything, no single form of backup is optimal.

More and more data is made daily, and more and more people have hordes of images/video/content in general that they would likely hate to lose and cannot replace. But more and more do they not explore what it takes to make true backups and have peace of mind with it. Everyone here knows someone, or many people, who would literally lose their minds if their phones took a dump today and they couldn't get back a few years of images and videos of their family, friends, etc. And that's just cellphone stuff. Even that needs to be backed up.

3, 2, 1.

Very best,

Agreed. It makes zero sense to host your data with ezPix.website instead of direct with the big brother, five eyes companies.
