Initially it sounds nice, but if taken on the road and used while inside your hotel room, the fact that it lacks a USB port makes the data on it subject to hijack by someone nearby.

If you go to the end of the article describing this, and click on the "Click here to buy now",
you then discover that rather than $99, it is US$250 for 2TB, and 'Super Early Bird' is US$479 for 4TB. US$99 is for super early bird 512GB.

It is a prototype currently, and they are generating working capital via the discounted pricing.
