Couldn't seem to get closer. This was handheld. Any tips? Tripod and extension tubes? Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

I already have a main tripod and travel tripod and extension tubes I bought 11 years ago to take photos of the engagement ring I gave to my now-wife. Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
