Bought a two-pack of SD cards today. They came in a plastic holder in a large cardboard envelope to keep them from being shoplifted. On the back of this cardboard holder is a dotted line that is labelled "Cut here to access cards and coupons.

If you turn the package over to the front before cutting, you will notice that if you actually cut along their dotted line, you will cut right through the SD cards.

I wonder how many people have done that?

It proves the fact that half of the population are above the median IQ, and half are under the median.
Actually, in the US the average IQ is 98.

A fact that needs no proof!

I sometimes try to understand the differentiation of 'lack of IQ' vs. 'being a fool'. It sometimes defies comprehension.

Could be a marketing thing, having destroyed a card in the process of getting it out of the packaging, the unwary consumer invariably purchases another...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I've never sliced into a memory card.
Thats almost as bad as the wholesale club packaging for products.
