Levina, I can think of tthrereasons

1. You mentioned one - the sticky with rules. If Maureen has abandoned POTN, whet then?
2. If a new thread has a mistake in the title, only a moderator can change it. ( I plead guilty to this offence!)
3. Something none of us have thought of happens. This happened to me when I was a moderator on a now defunct forum. I reported it immediately on the moderators private forum and action was taken immediately.

Well, we can just contact any mod for that, Martin.
And Maureen is still here. She's no longer a mod but she still visits POTN and posts pics, so she could simply change her sticky with the template.

There's one that I know of. We can't change the sticky. It has the host doing the judging. Hosts haven't done that recently. An alternative template for when winners are chosen by vote is desirable because, for example, the standard template can mislead newcomers by not inviting them to come back and vote at the designated time (or at all). I made one for my own use, but something like it should be available to all.

Yeah, that template in the sticky. I talked about that in the new challenge I put up.
