I'm interested to see how many POTN'ers are using prime lenses as opposed to a zoom with the equivalent focal length. If you do use prime(s) could you please state the lens and also your reason for its choice.

The background to my question is I'm considering gIving primes a go to simplify the decison process in my image making. I know that I could set a focal length on a zoom but I find I get too easily distracted by getting tempted to tweak the composition. However if I went with a fixed lens would I be forced into making the composition work e.g by having to move my feet

Any input appreciated
