Cameron Pass Colorado...up the road from Walden Colorado, the moose capitol of the lower 48.
We've found them there in the past.

I'll make note; thanks! He lives down in Golden and we headed out to Arsenal the last time I was able to visit; so, will just have to make other destinations. 8)
