Finally got a chance to shoot some sports (my daughter’s college lax) with my R6! I was curious if it would work as well as my 7D II did. I immediately sold the 7D II after the game. :)

I used eye af when a single player was distinct in the frame, and spot when they were grouped together. I’d say hit rate was at least 90%.
I used mostly electronic shutter, so came home with a LOT of pictures. Worked well tho. This is a VERY viable sports cam!

Sweet shot, Ira. And great how you got them in an almost synchronous pose!

If I bought my R6 before buying my R5, my second body might have been another R6. Love this body. The image stabilisation was invaluable with this shot.

Yeah, well, you know what Seneca said way back when: luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. And he was right too! :-P

I thought the same thing, but wasn't going to be the guy that commented on her legs.

 I guess that I am too old to notice such things, but Levina's comment made me go back and look at the photos again. She is right!

Anyway, my first impression was about how nice and sharp the images were. But please don't worry about it, Levina. You didn't spoil the moment for me... you made me smile instead :)

Haha, yeah, I can understand that. A man has to be careful what he says about women these days. :-P
As a straight woman I have no such restrictions. I think...
