Shortly after I took the photo, I did take most of the laptops to our local electronics recycling center. I did keep the 1983 Radio Shack Model 100. It was the device that changed my career from mechanical engineering (tractor and truck transmissions) to software engineering. I really enjoyed that all the way to retirement. My wife and I will be downsizing in the next year or two, so the purging has begun!

With things a bit slow, I tried out some shots on a Great Blue Heron using the 800 f11 + 1.4 ext (on a tripod, no way I could steadily handhold that combo).
