Make sure you have not set the lens in manual focus. Also, make sure you are taking a photo far enough away for the lens to focus. HTH.

R6 owners,
Do you suggest to add the battery grip BG-R10 to balance to the heavy lens? Is that good idea at all? Thank you.

I watched this video about a photographer who was having problems with focus, and isolated the problem to having his hand on the focus ring. In this case he was unknowingly moving the focus ring:
