It has been a little while since I last posted, it has been a crazy summer. But in my defense, it took over 2000 years for the light to reach my camera.
2,400 light years away, in the constellation Cygnus, sits the remains of a supernova known as the Cygnus Loop.
This image is the result of 248 images (20.7 hours) taken using an ASI1600mm with narrowband filters. It was attached to a Canon 100-400 f/4-5.6 lens at 100mm. Acquisition and focus controlled by StellarMate.
