I"ve been a Corel PSP user for quite a few years, also. I like their product and their pricing model (especially after Adobe went to the subscription service). I update every other year when they have it on sale. No, they're not as popular as Adobe, but it's done everything I need it to do and then some. I'm also not a heavy cut and paster, I like to have everything well tuned when I take the photo and generally use PSP only for a bit of healing/removing dirt, hair, etc and some sharpening or minor white balancing.

For the price, you just can't beat it.

I use photoshop elements, just updated to latest.
Don't use it heavily though.
But it gets me out of trouble.
I should, must, learn more as it packs a lot in.

Conversely not a fan of subscription. So if it goes that way I'm not upgrading.

Also have Corel but never used the photo editing. Bought the package for the draw side.
