I lost the usb cable for the Canon 80D to transfer to desktop. Have been looking on Amazon since I have prime and want to take advantage of the shipping. I have been looking on other sites as well. I have seen some least expensive to the expensive (tether tools). Is there a cable that can transfer quick? Not looking for flash quick, lol. But if there is no difference from the cheap to the expensive one, then I would get something less expensive. Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced.

USB 2.0 cables are going to be the fastest, but that is based on the camera capability.

I use the cable at https://www.amazon.com …60-45d7-9dba-6bfd4c841c1e (external link) but in a 6 foot version which is $9. I just like the extra length for my desk arrangement, that may or may not be a need for you.

Note that the page states "There is a newer version of this item:" but that will direct you to a cable that only comes in a 3 foot version.

Thanks for the help. I really don't mind getting a longer cable. Was also wanting to use the cable for tethering when I use it for home photography. I had found these, if not good will stick to the one mentioned above either 6ft or 10ft.

https://www.amazon.com …+cable%2Caps%2C253&sr=8-3 (external link)
https://www.amazon.com …+cable%2Caps%2C253&sr=8-4 (external link)

Sure there are others, but these showed up on the top results.

Do you mind if I ask, why you chose the above cable? Not questioning your choice, I obviously don't know which is why I am asking.

Showing up as "top results" (on Amazon) usually means driven by price.

I chose on the basis of physical design (see below) and potential longevity, assuming the specs can be trusted and aren't just marketing hype. By the way, learn to store your long cables coiled. They will last longer.
