Here are a couple from our trip to Colorado last week. A roadside view of a lake near Marble and a scene from a hike near Trayall.

Both very beautiful landscapes.
Your autumn colours really are amazing.
Must be awesome to see them materialise.

Both different but both stand on their own composition and beauty.

I was in Marble about this time a year ago visiting Maroon Bells and the Crystal Mill. The drive to Marble was jaw dropping to me. Nice images.

I was at Maroon Bells last September. Maybe you were one of the 30 or so photographer lined up on that lakeshore with me. :)

Gads! Small world. Also have family in W.P. She worked in Cripple Creek for a while bartending at a casino. I remember driving to C.C. from W.P. and driving south on scary 67 through the old Horsethief Tunnel (now closed, thank goodness). Good hiking if you park at either end of the tunnel and then a few miles up to The Pancakes (very local knowledge stuff). And to keep this post photo related, always bring your camera on the hike up to catch the views from the top of The Pancakes.
