Odd Occurance in Lightroom with Colors

I do not remember having a situation like this in the past. As I was developing some photos this morning, I noticed that after I got everything as I wanted in the Develop module and then went back to the Library module, all of my edits showed vastly different. When I export the photos, they appear as they do in the Develop module.

I have attached a photo that shows a screen shot from the Library module (top) and the exported photo (bottom). I am at a loss as to what is causing this but it has already given me some issues as I develop a set of product photos that I shot yesterday.

Please forget the subject matter, composition, etc., I am just interested in trying to find out what is causing this discrepancy.

Color space issue?

I was finally able to find something on the Adobe site explaining the situation. I'm still not sure why I haven't noticed this before; I've been a lightroom user since version 2.

You are not the first to mention this. Everyone wants speed and LR always gets beat up for being a parametric editor so this is a performance thing. Not everyone likes it. IT doesn't bother me.
