So, is the little branch in the upper right hand corner a stroke of genius or an obvious candidate for removal? This is straight out of the camera, no PP of any sort.

Why do you think it's a stroke of genius?

Seems like an obvious thing to remove for me

I agree with twitchy; I don't exactly see the benefit of having the branch in the picture.

It was just one of those things, like Jandek, that just leaves you asking, "Is that brilliant, or crap?"

I can take it out.

There's a big red triangle poking up from the bottom, too.

There is no story. It's a matter of color.

Maybe if you were thinking of using the branch as a sort of natural framing for the shot, it would make more sense. As it is, however, its too small to create that effect. The colors are great though, very true to life and excellent detail.

Thank you. It gives me sort of a Super Mario Bros. type of vibe.

I'd take it out too, it doesn't do anything. The biggest issue I have with the picture though is the angle from which you took the shot of the roof. It doesn't seem to be directly from in front of it, which means you lose some of the potential '2D' abstract colour effect that I think you were going for.
