Flight 93 National Memorial (2020)

From the Flight 93 National Memorial. In a twist of serendipity it was the takeoff delay out of Newark that put Flight 93 behind the other attacks on 11 Sep 2001, creating a time delay that enabled the passengers and crew to learn of the other attacks.

Never forget.

1) This boulder - the monument chosen by the victims' families - sits at the impact site of the crash. It is hallowed ground accessed only by the families.

2) Overlooking the crash site. The overlook mirrors the flight path of Flight 93.
