The day started off unexpectedly sunny for qualifying for the early classes like the formula vee racers;

by midday it was very overcast and gloomy for the later runners , heres the top qualifier and historic saloon winning Triumph vitesse ( the commentary team said it was running a 2500pi engine bored out to 2700cc)

1pm saw the start of the first race , the hotly contested FF1600's and with it came the rain !!

Matt Jensen briefly leading race winner and driver of the day Pat Blakeney.

Caterhams had two well supported races , but the deluge of rain proved challenging

All in all it was a day off exciting and close racing as demonstrated by this pair of radicals , a clubsport and a prosport for the GT race.
