Let's continue with the last challenge that highlighted COLOR. I will be looking for creativity and LOTS of color. Bring it! :-P

This challenge begins when posted, and ends on Monday, 26 October at midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

* THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED!

Thank you all for the gorgeous COLOR shots! As you all know, it’s so much more fun to pick a winner when there are so many to choose from.

Starting with OldCrow’s magic flower globe, I just love seeing the burst of pink petals, highlighted by the pretty background bokeh. Nice!

Stiga’s red RED tomatoes with the green accents are absolutely mouthwatering. Beautifully shot.

Dilorenzo’s Bikes mural really catches my eye. I’m wondering if this piece of art is outdoors for everyone to enjoy? Really gorgeous art and photo.

Next up is Eidelweiss’s Fall color. Wow, nature can really put on a show here! It looks like you caught the trees at high peak, too. Just brilliant color.

RDWP, you have introduced me to a new poem! I had to look up Rose-moles and found your title in the poem “Pied Beauty”. The trout against the foil and ice make an interesting shot for sure! And I learned something in addition, so thank you.

Rwmson, I do believe you are entitled to a refund, lol. You’ve struck the Creative requirement and mastered the COLOR element. The black background is perfect for showing off the pencils. Well done!

I’m going to go with rwmson’s “I would Like a Refund” It ticks off all the boxes for me. dilorenzo1954’s “Bikes ‘R’ Us” is my runner-up followed closely by Eidelweiss’s “Fall color on Columbus day.”

Thank you all for playing this week.:love:

Congrats to Roger! What’s next?

Oooh, I'm too late. I've been so busy and forgot the time. I'm sorry, Lesley. A great theme and great images.

Congratulations, Roger, Ed and Chris!

Way to go Roger! You too Chris!
Thanks for the nod Lesley. The mural is painted on the underpass to a local Metra station and the bikes belong to commuters.

Thanks Lesley and everyone. That photo was harder than expected to set up given that the pencils are round and like to roll around. It was like herding cats! Ended up having to cheat some with tape. ;-)a

I too really liked Ed's Bike's 'R Us image. That's a great shot IMO.

Yelling voice, ACTIVATE! THE NEW COMPETITION IS POSTED HERE:
