Canon RP with Godox/flashpoint HSS issues?

Has Canon RP and Godox/flashpoint resolved their issues with banding occurring during HSS?

I'm reading conflicting info about whether or not the firmware update from Canon resolved this issue. I have the flashpoint 600pro and 400pro and it would suck if the RP wasn't compatible.

With the holidays coming up I've been looking to upgrade from my original 6d to going mirrorless with the RP.

Edit... bought a Canon R instead which I know doesn't have banding issues.
