I picked up some Testors model paint and painted the red dot and white square.

You know what, that's a not stupid idea.

I wonder if it's worth doing to the hoods as well?

Canon make some awesome cameras and lenses, but they fail miserably at lens caps and hoods.

I have both crop sensor and full frame sensor camera bodies.
Its more just a little more obvious which lenses are EF-S and EF
I the 1990's they had the red dot.
