Perhaps not rare for most of you in the USA, but somewhat rare here in Canada. We are, however, seeing more and more Great Egrets here over the past few years. At Zero degrees C this morning, I suspect he's thinking of going south for the winter.

Haha thanks Sandy! Well I think he quickly got sick of the below freezing temperatures here, he hasn't been around for a week or so. I hope he gets home OK.
