I've been trying to like the mirrorless system for about 11 months but I have failed. The system produces excellent results but I much prefer the dSLR system (having been using SLRs and medium format systems since the early 1980s). Nothing wrong with the equipment - I just enjoy using my dSLRs more.

Items for Sale: Canon EOS R, RF 24-105mm F4L IS USM, Canon drop-in filter mount adapter EF-EOS R with circular polarizer, Canon drop-in filter ND Filter A (1.5 to 9 stop), all body & lens caps, battery, charger, neck strap, manual. No original boxes.

Approximate age of items: All equipment purchased in late December, 2019

Item Condition: Excellent, nearly like new
About 2000 shutter actuations (not used for video)
No scratches, blemishes, nor wear marks - even on the lens hood - EXCEPT for a 1 mm
shallow nick in the top LCD display and a slightly worn manual

Price: $2,450 as a complete set (as pictured)
Includes UPS-Ground shipping to CUS

Payments Accepted: Paypal preferred

Possible Trades: None

Shipping Methods Available (Ships From): UPS-Ground from Columbus, Ohio

Shipping Available To: Continental US

Best Contact Method: PM

Reason for selling: see above

Man I'm tempted. I'm kind of wanting one of these for a backup camera.

I would love that combo too with the lens.

Does it perform as well as a 5d IV?

I believe that the image output is nearly identical to that from the 5DmkIV. I have several images in the EOS R thread: https://photography-on-the.net …hp?t=1501070&goto=newpost

I assume all other factors (such as AF speed/accuracy, frame rate, video capabilities, etc.) are generally better than the 5DmkIV. But I have never compared them objectively. My issues were with the EVF and layout of the controls.

Additional pictures below. Btw, none of these pictures were touched/photoshopped other than resizing. More to come as forum rules allow.

Can you see the small nick in the TOP LCD display? That's the only imperfection.

I see it. On the right hand side?

I'm interested but have to make some decisions and going out of town for a few days. I'll check in with you later in the week.

Does it have a clear insert filter or just the polarizer? I think I read that adapter has to have a filter to be used. Is that correct?

Thanks again.

Yes, that's it - next to the button. Very shallow nick.

The EF-EOS R adapter will need the drop-in Clear Filter A if you are planning to use the adapter for just that purpose (EF adapter) otherwise there will be an open slot through which light will get in.

Included in this kit is BOTH the polarizer AND variable ND filter

Thanks for your interest and have a safe trip.
