Can't find threads about two new RF lenses. Did I missed all of excitement somewhere?

Nice additions. The STM 50mm EF is one of the best bang for your buck lenses out there. Nice to see it make a the move to add an RF version. (though I actually prefer the 50mm on an APS-c for portraits :) )

I have mixed feelings about 70-200 RF. EF 70-200 Ls are all internal zoom. This one is not.

I used to have 50L on 5Dc and it was great. 50 1.8 RF is still large for my RP, but I don't know if 40 2.8 RF would be available. I really want to benefit by RP's small size.

I would never consider a RF70-200F4

the EF L 70-200F4 is still one of the sharpest lens in canons line up. Its like 16 yrs old now

and you can find them for $400-450 all day long

I will be mounting my 70-200 F/4L on the adapter and never looking back

$1600 v/s $450.....just not a hard decision for me

I 100% guarantee the RF wont be as sharp as these older F/4L versions. They are the best bang $$$ you can ever spend for canon L glass

70-200 F4 L was my first L. Purchased under 500 USD new.
By now it just not use, I was switching to 50L all the time. EF version. It was compact comparing to huge 50L RF.
I will get 50 1.8 RF and switch to 24-105 F4 L RF. Can't find any other RF lens without huge price tag or enormous size I would need for my tiny RP.
