Ok I shoot both Canon and Nikon but I REALLY been lusting after a fuji just for the Monochrome options.I do have a Canon M-50 that I keep in monochrome all the time but after borrowing a XT-3 I think a xt-30 is on my radar.Anyone else here buy a Fuji JUST for the monochrome options?I'm thinking a xt-30 with a 23 f1.4 is just the ticket.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fujifilm releases a monochrome-sensor camera within the next year or so. Also - for the combination you are talking about, the X100V or its older siblings would probably be a good choice. I have shot with the X100V in Acros mode, and 49mm red, orange and yellow filters. Pretty spot on.

I don't think I'd go in solely for the B&W options, but my brain needs to process the idea to find out if it is a sufficient reason to indulge the already-present Fuji-induced GAS (especially when I've got a good copy of the XF18-55 lying around in one of my drawers).

Part of me would like to see that happen, but the other part is telling me that, if Fuji were to actually release a monochrome-sensor camera, it would likely have that 'vintage'-like body like most of the X-T line, which I'm not too interested in. Plus I'd also have to admit to myself that it's just too practical to have a RAW with color data to not have to deal with yellow/blue/red filters, which would start to make things just too complicated, for me at least.

Cool video/idea, thanks for sharing. Not way I'd go full Noir though, I definitely shoot RAW and wouldn't dedicate an entire camera and lens combo to that. I'd be more into the "Noir Sessions".
