Purchased a waterproof and fog proof Vortex binocular 10x42 on sale.
The weather is turning colder making hiking a little boring.
Not much to photograph now that the birds have migrated.
The trees are mostly bare too.
The muskrats and deer were active two weeks ago.

I just purchased binoculars, too. . In fact, I think they may be the same ones! . Ordered them on Tuesday Feb. 2nd and they still haven't arrived.

Is this the same deal you got?

THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.
They were supposed to arrive on Thursday, then Fed Ex changed it to Friday. . Now they're saying they won't get here until Monday. . Getting impatient - I really needed them yesterday and today, as my 6 year old Vortex 8x binos are falling apart and I can barely even see through them anymore. . Wish they'd sent then via the USPS instead of Fed Ex ..... people complain about the USPS, but I have never had any problems with them, and they get stuff to me much more reliably and quicker than either Fed Ex or UPS.

My weather finally turned cold, too. . But I love the cold. . I actually think winters are boring when they are mild, and they get interesting and exciting when it gets really cold and everything freezes up.

Our birds migrate, too, but they don't base their departure on the weather ..... they base it on length of daylight, so they leave at the same time each year whether it is cold or mild. . But there are always some ducks and geese that stick around and spend the winter here. . And of course the gallinaceous birds like Pheasants and Grouse, which don't migrate. . And Woodpeckers and Nuthatches - they don't migrate either. . So at least there are a few species to shoot, if one is able to traverse the ice and snow to get to where they are.

I need the binoculars for finding and identifying the ducks on the rivers. . All of the water along the banks is frozen up, and the only open water is way out in the middle of the rivers, where it is too far to see the ducks clearly without the aid of quality optics.

That's great! . I really want more opportunities to photograph Muskrats, especially when they come up out of the water onto the ice or the land. . When your Muskrats were active, were you able to get good photos of them? . Were they swimming in the water, or up on the land?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

It's possible the weather is messing up the deliveries this time. Depending on when and where they shipped from, they could have been stuck by multiple storms.
