I saw this man feeding birds at Nathan Phillips Square here in Toronto. He seemed to be enjoying it quite a bit. He'd feed the birds, then stand still while they swarmed around him feeding until all the crumbs were gone. Then he'd repeat it. Looked sorta fun! :)

It was kind of hard to capture the way the birds were swarming him, this was the best shot I got.

Comments and criticism welcome.

You caught a couple of Gulls there as well as Pigeons. I suspect that 'hoodie' character is Pet-Kal (a member here) who is often to be found wandering Tonto's mean streets looking for spare change and fag butts (cigarettes for our AmeriKan friends) to help feed his lens addiction. Did you see a large case nearby with several shiny white objects peeping out?

Lol Dave, you're a riot! It's a good thing you explained that thing about fag butts, I was conjuring up quite a different impression of our good friend Pet-kal.

Pigeons-rats with wings

Interesting shot though

I don't know what good composition is.... Sometimes for me composition has to do with a certain brightness or a certain coming to restness and other times it has to do with funny mistakes. There's a kind of rightness and wrongness and sometimes I like rightness and sometimes I like wrongness. Diane Arbus

That's a great shot. The lines in the concrete really polish it off- give it the extra something.
Dave- that's hilarious. Pet-kal is probably still trying to come up with a good rebutal.
