7DMkII Still in Production ???

I have seen numerous references describing the 7DMkII as old news; however, a Canon product timeline that I recently saw shows it to still be in production.

So, which is it, discontinued or still being made brand-new ?

Old news and still in production are not mutually exclusive terms, particularly where Canon is concerned.

That said, It's not been for sale as new on the Canon USA web store for some time. Nothing definitive, but a hint.

Scroll toward the bottom to the horizontal purple stripes/bars > click "Show" on the one titled "Canon EOS digital camera timeline" and it will expand to display a pretty neat color-coded timeline.

It's in stock with some dealers, but at other places, it has been replaced by the 90D.
