This beaver, resident of our backyard pond, showed up in daylight today for a mid-afternoon snack of bark and twigs. Yum!

Two beavers have made a nest in our backyard pond, and we're hoping for a litter of beaver kits to watch in the spring as ice melts.

Incredible.
I really love beavers. For me, looking at their construction work is like meditation. Therefore, I really liked the photos:love:.
