I found an old photo from when I got this car in 2009. It was all the rage to take photos with a 'transparent' hood (bonnet to us aussies).

Over the years I have seen thousands of photographs of cars with transparent bonnets, but never seen any on the road. How strange.

Real plastic can't take the heat I suppose... photoshopped bonnets like this are another story!

They were (are) one of the most refined rocketships Ford ever produced. I replaced a BA XR8 with this and the only thing it missed was a V8 sound.... but it is waaaay quicker and far more comfortable. I ran a 13.06 1/4 mile totally stock, I'm pretty happy with that.
