does this count? little bit of Blue - yes in a sea of green - no primary? :-)

I was taught in art classes that the primaries are red, blue, and yellow. It turns out that there's a lot more to it. Surprise, green is a primary in some classifications!

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

I finally found a couple of 3-in-1s.

(When I see these trucks, I always think "Wow, they deliver those little AAA batteries?")

Then there was this bit of parking lot after light rain.

Oh! That's news to me. But I come from a (very) old school, plus not from an artistic teaching.
I would have called green a predominant colour (in nature) but that's about it.

Coming from the offset and sheet fed print industry.. We use CMYK. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black to produce most all colors.
If a color cannot be produced using these, we are required to use a 5th color and use an additional unit of the press.
This means the press cannot be used efficiently, adding cost to the customer.

We still refer to the colors as CMYK but actually say Blue, Red, Yellow and Black.

Is PMS* still used, or has something digital replaced it?
___________
*Not that one, folks. This time it's Pantone Matching System.

LOL

I was surprised about that myself, Jo. Usually these types of shots show alarming amounts of dust.

And by the way, this was the first time I used my two Godox flashlights with the R6. I expected having to go into the R6's menu and do all sorts of complicated things, but nope, it all worked flawlessly, just as is. Very pleased with that. :)
