@markesc, the lake is above 10000 feet and still freezing cold in early June. There are snow patches around the shores. We saw marmots were seeking shelter under the deserted tent.

Actually there are no snacks because all the high sierra camps have been closed due to covid-19. These tents was empty for over a year now. I think these marmots just prefer to live in the tent than dig their own burrows.
