Thanks, Brian!
We were observing it for quite a while, it did not make any attempt. I guess those mandibles were quite the deterrent

Excellent shots and composition as always Hayath. At first look I thought you might have found and brought a stick with the Owlfly eggs back home with you to wait for them to hatch, but then the probability of you having a pet spider to add to the mix dashed that speculation. I think I see some eyes and can make out a body under there bound up in webbing, so take another closer look.
And the one who's abdomen is pointing out toward the lens must have gotten caught up in some webbing as well.

If you didn't notice, they emerge from the egg with back of head first, and mandibles folded against chest. Then they bring them out in line with the body, and slowly open their mandibles over the next hour, until they are all the way back out to their sides out of sight under those feathers or whatever they are called.

Very cool shots, congrats, and thanks for sharing.
