Thanks Becca. The Painted Desert is the one thing I always remembered most from my trip in 1978, and I've wanted to go back and see it again ever since then. I don't know why it took so long...

Thanks guys. I did have a great time on that trip.

And, yes Sandy, that is snow! I saw a lot of that white stuff that week. Mostly around Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.

I love Arizona, Lonnie and this is one reason. I love Flagstaff and the Sonora Desert, especially when the cactus are in bloom.

Man, you are making me want to go right now!!! The colors are just beautiful!

Nice shots!!!
The painted desert I visited it last fall and have never seen landscape like that before I don't know why it isn’t advertised as much as some of the other national parks.

I've really been falling in love with Arizona recently. It sure is a beautiful state with a variety of things to see. Flagstaff is a great town, too. I could definitely see myself living there.
