Okay, a decent turnout this week. Let's see what the judge thinks:

OldCrow - A 2 TB memory stick
This stylized USB drive reminded me of a Star Trek TNG communicator at first glance. I like the stylistic ripples molded into the rectangular drive surrounded by the circular keyring, all of this against a bright blue background. One nit - I wish the keyring could be rotated about 15 degrees CCW to hide the single-thickness area. Nicely done!

Stiga - Very low-energy permanent bottle labelling machines
Try saying THAT ten times quickly! A well-framed and exposed shot of some Hi-tech machinery.

Levina - my beloved iPhone
Artistic treatment of a beloved Hi-tech device. The natural lighting on all of the angular surfaces makes this an interesting shot to enjoy. Bonus point for the angled copyright. Nicely done!

drsilver - Renewable Energy
Three Hi-tech windmills against an interestingly-lit swirly cloud layer makes for a very interesting photo of Hi-tech versus Nature tech. A couple of nits: the nearest windmill is not separated from the middle windmill (I'm a big fan of separation of subjects), and the distracting non-windmill technology. Still, admirable shot!

dilorenzo1954 - Mean Green Machine
I had to Google this and I still don't know what it is. I did find out that Pollak is a manufacturer of switches. A well-framed and exposed shot of some sort of Hi-tech machinery.

RDWP - Hi Tech ca. 1985
Computer board of some sort. Doesn't look like a PC board to me. A well-framed and exposed shot.

Now the results: this weeks' winner is... OldCrow (Don). This vibrant image jumped out at me thanks to the bright, colorful background and the simple yet interesting subject. Great job Don! <golf clap>

Honorable Mention goes to Levina with her artistic treatment of a cell phone.

Thanks to everyone for submitting photos!

Roger

Thanks Roger. It is a PC board - an old Intel 80286. Big step up from the i8088. CPU sitting under the silver cover boasting a blazing 10 Megahertz clock speed. :p
