Quite amusing, but the way she is stood is what makes it really appealing to me.

A neighbor complained to city zoning that this guy had installed a 6' fence next to a sidewalk. Zoning only allows a 3' fence and the city made him cut it down. He works in retail and got his revenge on the tattletale neighbor.

I can imagine her saying "Modern art is so deep and profound".

It feels very meta

I have had it explained to me how 30c in one place is worse than 40c in another mainly depending on the humidity. Is there an equivalent to “chill factor” ?

Yes, at least in the U.S., weather forecasts and reports often give a number for the "feels like" temperature along with the thermometer reading.

I always get confused by Farengrade and Centiheight -?

I did a detachment to Nairobi for 6 weeks in Jan/Feb in 1966 followed by 2 ½ years in Singapore. The temps were very similar at about mid 90s F. The difference was that the humidity in Nairobi was very low, in the low 40s I think, but in Singapore it was always at 95% or more. About 150% in the monsoons

In Nairobi you didn't seem to sweat, you did, but it evaporated off before you really noticed and you got burned very easily. In Singapore you sweated ALL the time and it took me about 3 weeks on return to Blighty to realise that the palms of my hands weren't sweating!

It's true. This time of year here 30C is nice and cool because the air is relatively dry. But from October to April it's like Singapore; temps are only a bit higher: 34-38C (with overnight temps dropping only to the high 20Cs), but the humidity is off the scale and it feels really hot and sweaty.

Years ago, I had this fantasy of making a comic strip made from my photos. I was thinking maybe a bathroom book since it wouldn’t be classy enough for the coffee table.
I don’t know what the rules are for text on photographs, but it’s easier to get forgiveness than permission.

If no one comes from the future to stop you, how bad of a decision could it really be?
