Thank you.
I imagine there’s a lot of sky watchers here.
I saw it and jumped out of my car immediately before it went away. Lucky nobody was driving behind me.
Here’s one I like, I call it “Bea Arthur Watches Over Us.”

Before they had selfies, you had cameras with timers on them...

That's amazing. You should post it in the inanimate faces thread!

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Thanks, I’m just getting reacclimatized to this site after years. Haven’t found all the appropriate threads and don’t want to violate rules or offend anybody.
I post pics that I have on my phone, so I’ve washed exif information and I’m not sure how to correct that.
Guess I need to get my outside hard drive out.
For the last six years I’ve been caring for my wife with FTD, so my only opportunities for photography are of things like junior rodeo, youth basketball and soccer of friends and strangers.
Some really great shots but I can’t get permission from parents so I don’t want to post them.
It’s a shame because those are the ones I’m most proud of. So y’all might notice a few older or even vintage photos in my mix.
Is there a thread for photos taken pre-digital? I used to do slide shows back in the day.
It’s been fun rediscovering you guys. Some inspiring images here!

In regard to my last post, I think I found one that doesn’t violate anyone’s privacy and identity:

Many threads - such as this one - are all about the image, not the camera / phone / photoshop. So if it is an old slide image or a phone shot that’s attractive and amusing, feel free to share it here!

Thanks for that.
To finish this conversation, here’s a couple of, (I think are fun) photos of what I’m talking about. Two from the 80’s that fooled me into thinking I was destined to be a professional sports photographer.
The athletes at the sports banquets would get in trouble as they ran to get the best seats at the slide show finale.

Back to stand alone fun pictures.

I thought this calf’s markings looked familiar.
It’s England! Or whatever y’all call that area.

Oh that’s funny.
More for my anecdote.

Not just England. It is the United Kingdom/Great Britain and Southern Ireland and it's where quite a number of you lot over there came from ;-)a:rolleyes:

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

I am at great risk of learning something, that’s not what I signed up for here.

I took that picture on a walk through my neighborhood. The heifer shares space with goats and sheep. I find things of interest very close to home.

Here’s one of my neighbors who hired Spider-Man to mow his lawn.
