This is one of those “One if these things is not like the others, One of these things does not belong.”
Most people don’t get it so I’ll go ahead and tell you. It’s the Emu. It walks on two legs and has feathers instead of hair.

That is not correct. They are all the same because none of them can fly. Bl00dy obvious really -?

Lol, yep. I didn’t notice, but one of my sons that has to be contrary saw it and pointed out that I was wrong.

They can hide in plain sight too. When they lay down, they look like a pile of grass.

You think outside the box for sure.
Lateral thinking I believe they call it.

I show people this photo and tell them I’m restoring a car.
A couple didn’t get it and told me emphatically that that’s an improper way to restore a car.
It reminds me of one of the first impressive photoshops that I remember seeing of a shark highlighted with back lighting in an ocean wave. Took me a while to realize it wasn’t real.
I don’t know how to post three images in a row, so I’ll post the sources in the next post.

The rusty car was in my neighborhood, just a few blocks away.
The restored car I saw at a gas station in San Antonio.
I thought it was quite the coincidence...

Awesome.
That would certainly draw some in.
Very fitting here :-P

Here’s something I think is fun.
I like to trace my photos and make people think I have artistic talent.
Plus I always have making a children’s book in mind.
I figure you could take photos of your story, and then trace it for the illustrations.
You know how hard it is to find an illustrator? It’s hard. They’re not as gracious as photographers.
I have some other collaborations I’ve done with photogs and choppers I’ll share later.
Man, I look like Bea Arthur. It’s from a selfie I took with a timer, so it’s all from my own photography.

What interested me about photography before my wife became ill was all the potential that it has.
Slide shows, brochures, greeting cards; but especially the way it would be perfect for murals.
I used to hang wallpaper and I got to know a few paint artists.
Below is eight of my photographs of a mural that’s about seven feet by three and a half.
I stitched eight photos together, and you guys know how big you could enlarge the image even better than I do. It could be huge.
It’s like over a gig of information.
The snippet of the mural shows how when it’s blown up, you can see the pencil marks that the artist missed covering up. Embarrassing!
I don’t know if y’all have a section for exploring ideas that you could make money off your photography, but if anybody hadn’t thought of this, you’re welcome. You wouldn’t believe all the new products that print shops have available nowadays.

Just one more fun collaboration that I did and then I’ll leave y’all alone about them. I don’t know if money making ideas are taboo on this site, but I’m not looking to enlist anyone or anything like that. There is absolutely no proprietary knowledge involved, these are just things that can be done.
Being an ex paperhanger for 45 years, I’d just like to know if wallpaper products have ever been an interest for photographers. It just seems so cool.
You could make an animal alphabet border for a daycare or any other subject or venue.
You can literally print up to 60” tall to 30 yards (yes yards) wide with no seam.
These are Uvalde Texas steers. It’s five photographs printed on vinyl, wrapped around a wooden frame. The owner liked the pictures because it wasn’t often that the grass tickled their stomachs.
I picture collages of your amazing animal photos. If anybody does one, let me know.

April 1st I told my mechanic that there was water running out from under my dashboard, and then I set this up:
