And a 63mm lens - could not afford more lenses until I have saved some more money.

Sold all my Canon gear for this. Have kept my Olympus EM1-X and lenses for sport and wildlife...well any moving shots. So Fuji will be for more static type shots.

I tested 50S but since I will use it on a tripod most of the time, the reduced grip of the 50R is not an issue. Also will not have long telephoto lenses - I think !!

Also using a tripod which I have not really done for a long time really. So slowing down and taking it easy.

I thought I had a pretty powerful laptop but stitching 5 RAWs together in Photoshop took about 3 minutes. I did not know what to do !!

I have i7-7700HQ 2.8Ghz with 16Gb RAM and solid state drives.
What PC spec do I need?

I shoot a GFX 100 just to name one camera body. Reference your computer more RAM would help.

I did the same thing a year or so ago. It was a great move and inspired me to shoot more and explore the world of MF glass.

For the 63mm. Personally I find this lens to have steller IQ however, it is not the fastest or best performing GF lens. Many people say it is the worst lens in the GF lineup but still a great lens. I will be selling my 63mm to buy the 80mm.

Also something to consider on the computing power front - as crazy as it sounds, consider shooting for JPEG (you can always capture raw +JPEG). The fujifilm JPEGs are spectacular and take a lot less computing resources to view, cull, and edit. Enjoy the film simulations that fujifilm have perfected, they are pretty terrific right out of the box. You can also control contrast (with the shadow and highlight controls) and white balance to achieve the in-camera look you want while retaining the raw data if you need it. Also try forcing yourself to shoot with the Acros black and white simulation. Sometimes I choose this simulation to see tone through the EVF without the distraction of color, even if my intent is a color image from the raw file.

Enjoy!
