I do not remember what this feature was called, but if I were to go to either the far left or the far right of any page and clicked in that area it would instantly take me to the top of the page.

I can no longer do that.

Hi Charles!

Have you maybe changed your page margins (in FYEO)? Because if the margins are too small there basically isn't room for that feature.

If you still have the feature, you can find it by moving the cursor slowly across the empty vertical strip at the right margin and watching for the hand with a label "go top."

I just now found out that it says "to editor top" if used when writing a post.

And it works if you have empty space to the left side, too

Just yesterday it stopped working for me, too. I am not doing anything differently than I have always done, with respect to page margins or what zoom view setting I am using. . I'm doing everything the same, and yet POTN is different. . It is frustrating, because I much prefer the way it used to be, because the way it is now isn't nearly as useful. . Whatever was done, it is not an improvement - it is a regression.

That's what always USED TO work, but now it doesn't work that way at all. . If Charles and I both lost it at the same time, I don't think it's a coincidence. . Especially after I double-checked all of my viewing settings and refreshed the pages.

I am using Google Chrome on an iMac with recent updates. . I should note that the feature still works on Safari (which I don't like to use, at all, but did so just to check for this AMASS feature). . This leads me to believe that losing the "back to top" feature is probably due to a change that Chrome made and forced upon us, without giving us a choice to keep things they way they used to be, with respect to page margins.

Charles, are you also using Chrome as your browser?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I didn't know about this feature until now. But it works for me. I use Google Chrome.

Just checked. It works for me. I recently had to update Chrome since I was having other issues, especially with streaming on Netflix. Maybe give that a shot?

No I have made no changes to any settings here at POTN.

Thank you Levina for reading my post!

One thing I should have mentioned is this: I used to have a black strip maybe 1/4 inch wide on both sides of the screen. I no longer have that black strip. That is generally where I would click to go to the top of the page.

As I told Levina I have made no changes to any settings here.

I do not remember ever seeing "go top" in the past years when I used that option.

Can you click on Page margins in FYEO and check what it is set to (as shown in the images below)?
