Thank you Pekka. That sounds like that probably changed my settings also. I do hope when you revert the margin default that will take the margins on my computer back to normal on my computer.

Now the margin setting is back to old defaults.

.
I did a small change to margin default sizes yesterday, it affects only display sizes below 1280. This was due to odd behaviour of IpadOS 14 zooming out vertical pages. I was able to fix that problem, so I can revert margin default setup soon.

Pekka,

It didn't work for me a few hours ago - like I said earlier, I had exactly the same problem that Charles reported.

But I just got back home, looked at the window that I always keep open with POTN on it, and - lo and behold - it is back to normal! . I have black margins again, and I can click on them to get back to the top, just like I have for years and years!

So, Pekka, whatever you did within the past several hours definitely fixed the problem.

Thank you - you rock!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

And it works if you have empty space to the left side, too

I wasn't sure about that, because I don't use the left side for "go top." I keep the Dock there (it's a Mac thing), and the Dock pops out, covering the "go top" area, if the cursor goes all the way over.

Usually I just use the keyboard pair: Command + up arrow.

Thank you Pekka!

As a side note, I "tried" clicking on MQ to do a multi-quote from you and Tom after your post and I got an error posted below.

If it says so, the network was indeed down for a moment. This is pretty normal especially with Wifi and mobile access.
