this is a nice pic but the tonality is very flat. no rich blacks or whites but if that was what you wanted then it has been achieved. in my opinion it needs a bit more contrast.

you are right Pio, they were waiting for a bus which was coming to collect them to bring them back to the city
this was close to the mourne mountains up North, about 80 miles away from their homes.
they were on a day's outing

maybe it's like that Richard, because the sun was shining into the camera
I blocked the bright light slightly ...with the help of the tree

I suppose they were having a last smoke before they got on the bus Alan and Sandy.
no one is allowed smoke once on board
or in any places indoors (public houses restaurants etc )
must be awful hard for those trying to give up smoking
especially at that age

glad you thought the tree was interesting Sandy
