Even at 66, I can still outrun a skunk. I came across it while driving around a couple lakes today so I jumped out and ran down the road while the skunk ran along the other side of the ditch. If anybody would have been watching, they'd have thought we were running a race. I eventually got past it a few feet and stopped and it allowed me a few shots. It's just amazing that it didn't run directly away from me and just give me a butt shot. Or even worse.

It could have been a butt shot one way or another, for you , for him, or both of you. Nice shot.

It actually wasn't that cold yesterday as it got into the 40's f. It's not very often they are seen in the middle of the day though.
