Digital Speed Challenge #645: Sports (You're passionate about...)

For #645, quite simply, your favorite sport, team or player...this one's a softball
This challenge begins when posted and ends on Monday, March 8th at midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

Running. A sport that anyone can participate in.

Thank you all for participating. All the images were quite good, but the one that stood out to me was "Running" from Happygav, with "Kayaking" from Don as HM.

the highest any of these guys will go is the SPHL. thats below the ECHL, AHL AND NHL...

Thanks Ed and Don. I am honoured to have been chosen. This is my first win so I am not sure how I start a new competition thread. I think that I see the button for starting a thread now I just need to come up with a topic.

paste it into a new thread, separate from this one.
edit it with the new date (should be Monday 15 March).
add topic.

copy and paste (with updated # (646) with new topic in title.

should have a topic ready to go when submitting entry to the current challenge...
