I have a canon 6d mark ii. On my telephoto lenses I want to try the lens calibration. I bought a lens calibration tool. Question I have is if I calibrate say my Sigma 150 to 600 for the 6d Mark II camera will the calibration then be off for my 70 to 300 mm Canon L series. Do the cameras have a memory to know which lens is on it or if I calibrate a lens to this camera it would only be true for that camera and lens combination.

Camera's do recognise lenses. You have the option in the camera menu to either apply the calibration for every lens or for a specific lens(that's the one I'd choose).
