I bought a lens calibration tool. Question I have is if I calibrate say my Sigma 150 to 600 for the 6d Mark II camera will the calibration then be off for my 70 to 300 mm Canon L series. Do the cameras have a memory to know which lens is on it or if I calibrate a lens to this camera it would only be true for that camera and lens combination.

pcs I suddenly feel very old 3,680 posts Likes: 32331 Joined Apr 2010 More info | Mar 06, 2021 01:56 | #2 Camera's do recognise lenses. You have the option in the camera menu to either apply the calibration for every lens or for a specific lens(that's the one I'd choose).
