Have to admit loved Luminar and Aurora HDR from Skylum, however the fact its been almost a year and no updates for the Canon R5 or R6, I have decided to move away from them.

They dont update for new camera bodies at ALL. Some are waiting two years now, read their forums you'll see all the complaints.

Just a heads up.

Agreed but I think, if in your position, I would be prepared to convert my RAWs to DNGs just so I could use the Skylum apps.

I had been doing that, but just adds too much extra work to my workflow, when I am doing a large amount of Luxury Real Estate a week, its just a huge extra hassle, when there are other applications that do the same thing AND support new RAW formats.

Not from where I sit. :)

Luminar some issues that have not been resolved in sky replacement. There have been several times when it has failed to actually replace the sky; instead, it adds its sky as sort of a semi-transparent overlay. When I took this up with customer support, their response was "Luminar likes clouds.'

Also, I sometimes make a selection in PS, and after editing in Luminar have noted that when I return to PS the edge of the selection has white dots incorporated.

Luminar and Luminar AI also update their database every time you start it, which can take a long time - mine is on NAS. Also, though Luminar 4 doesn't seem to to do this, Luminar AI always mounts a second copy of the NAS drive on my desktop.

Phototshop uses a more sophisticated method of sky replacement by using layer group with the new added sky, which I personally prefer. I've imported all my Luminar skies into PS.

I still use Luminar 4 as a plugin in Photoshop, but i kind of treat it like an Italian car. The design is great, but the execution is flawed.

Je n'avais pas besoin de cette hypothèse-là.
