I have a 5d4 now and I am thinking about getting the R5. I hear lots of good things about the R5 and I was wondering how good it was with the 600 f4 ll. So you guys running this combo, what are your thoughts so far?

I have read 2-3 posts on the R5 thread and they say images are sharper with their 1Dx bodies than the R5's....also said they think they got more keepers on the R5.....which Im skeptical on the analysis..I dont own one so I cant be sure....but an electronic shutter is going to get you a lot more hits simply by the way it works

My analysis would be

how many more good shots do i get for the way I would shoot....I dont hold a shutter down and take 20-30 shots...I take much shorter bursts and rely more on timing and anticipation

I will probably get flamed from all the R5 owners.......but not sure why you would want or need 40 shots on the electric shutter v/s 5-7-9 on a burst that is well timed
